Filming started for my vampire movie. I was supposed to shoot Sat, Sun, Mon 5pm-5am. Saturday I drove the 45 minutes to the location and was sent home after two hours because of rain. Last night I shot a scene around 10 and had to stay until after 5. They thought they were going to be able to get to another scene, but the sun rose and we had to pack up. Hopefully they will finish everything tonight so I don't have to come back. I'm bringing my camera tonight, so I should have pictures up later.

How cute is my dad? Well, I'll tell ya. I got a note in the mail from him with some birthday money. It said, "...it was great to hear you say, 'We start shooting the vampire movie,' perhaps it will become a cult classic like Rocky Horror Picture Show. That worked out OK for Susan Sarandon." I love my dad.

***Armipit Update***

It's an infection in a gland. Nothing dramatic. I'm on antibiotics for the next 10 days and am going to spend some time in the sauna at the gym. My doctor said it was probably caused from a nic while shaving then the antiperspirant on top of it. It's hardened and still hurts, but not as bad as before. I know you all were staying up at night worrying about may armpit, but it's fine.

:)

I'm convinced I have cancer of the armpit. Tomorrow I'm calling my doctor to schedule an appointment. It started out seeming like I had cut myself shaving. Almost like razor burn. Then it got bigger. And started to hurt. At first it only hurt when I touched it. Now it hurts all the time. When I stretch, it even makes my arm hurt. It looks like a bump in my pit. I'll keep you updated.

This day keeps getting better and better. I had my first rehearsal with the Jesterz, which was FAN-FLIPPIN-TASTIC! There was a girl from my audition a few months ago named Sarah. We had great chemistry onstage and she was really interesting. We were talking about what we did during the day, and she mentioned that she just graduated from college. I was thinking with a theater degree or something related, and she pulled the molecular biology card on me. She can't discuss what she does at her work because it's top secret. So I love her. Anyway, I thought she was the most talented person there, plus she had been with an improv troupe in Tuscon, so I thought she was a shoo-in. When Jef called to invite me to the advanced class, I specifically asked about Sarah. He said she didn't make it. I thougth that was crazy. Well, it turns out she was in Level 3 this whole time. It was great to see her again, and she remembered the outfit I was wearing. Mainly because I happen to be wearing the exact same shirt and pants tonight. Whatever. The rehearsal was so much fun. I am really pumped about the upcoming weeks!

Then I come home, and I need to go straight to bed. But I check my email, and I have something from Russell, the guy I auditioned for Saturday. The movie is called, and I'm not kidding, "Blue Collar Ass-Kicking Vampire Slayers." It's an action movie, and I get to put my combat work to the test. It's an indie film, but so was "Napoleon Dynomite". I have a cool action sequence that ends in my death. I film the end of January, so more to come on that.

For reals, now, I needs to get my booty sleep.

I am so effing sick of people asking me if I'm engaged. No. I am not. And it won't happen any time soon, so BACK. OFF.

OK, I feel much better. It's just that in the past two days I've been asked by about 10 different people. I am not upset that I'm not engaged. Hell, I'm in absolutely no rush to be married. But as a girl who has been in a relationship for over 2 years, people tend to start bugging you. They don't seem to ask the guys at all. Which, by the way, is unfair. So, please, do not ask. Trust me, I will let you know.
