Holy crap. I've been trying to post for the past week, but haven't been able to access this site. OK. So lots has happened. I went home for Stephanie's wedding, and there are pictures up. Paul stopped smoking! Cold turkey. It's been almost three weeks now, and I am so freakin' proud of him. He notices a difference in his workouts--says he doesn't get winded anymore. I applied for a job but didn't get it because I'm an actor. I made it to the second interview, and they would have hired me if it wasn't for this guy who was all, "So, you'll need to be gone for weeks at a time to film..." I tried to explain without sounding condescending that, no, in fact, that is not the case. If, IF, I get an agent this month (which looks doubtful, so that means I don't get another shot for four months), then I would only miss a couple of hours of work every few weeks for auditions. Which, of course, I would make up for. So that kind of sucks. But Paul and I are going to my cousin's condo in San Diego for Thanksgiving. My aunt and uncle are driving out there, too. Which means we get an actual meal, instead of the pizza I had planned.

Last Sunday was Paul's favorite day out here so far. We go to watch the Bengals. See, there's this huge arcade called GameWorks. They have video, arcade, and virtual reality games as well as skiball and the usual carnival stuff. They also have a couple of bars and restaurants (it's two stories). Well, they have the NFL ticket. Every game. Every weekend. On Sunday the Bengals happened to be on the 50" screen in the VIP lounge. So we drank, ate, and watched tv all the while sitting in two huge leather recliner-like seats. It was great. Paul was a very happy camper.

Oh, and my parents are buying a house. Yep. The Turtleback Drive place will be no more. The house I spent the formative years of my life will go on to another family. And my dad will finally get the ranch-style he's always wanted (and his hips need). They're moving in at the end of January, and my mom has already figured out where the furniture will go on a model she made to scale. Yeah. I think they're excited.

One more thing. In January I'm getting my colon cleaned. I've always wanted to do it, and I got a coupon in the mail the other day. It's a sign. So I'll let you know how that goes in a month.

Trying to figure out if going home for the holidays is a good idea or not. Do I really want to pay higher prices and deal with the billions of crazy people? Hmm, things to think about.
