Getting to know someone of the opposite sex is a tricky thing. I went to see an improv show Sat night, but as I never carry cash, a friend paid for me to get in. I am going to bring a couple of energy drinks he likes next time I see him as a thank you. The tricky part is, I'd like to get to know him more. Not in a romantic way, but he fascinates me. If I invite him for coffee and he declines, and I still give him the drinks when I see him, I think he would feel stalked. So now I have to wait until after I give him the drinks to see if he wants to get together. This would be much easier if he were a girl. Then nothing would be misconstrued. Ugh, is it always this complicated?
